OLD LINKS FROM 2004
Follow me, my children. Into the sad well of deep nostalgia...

Saint City- Eric R's comics have become so immense that they've spawned an entirely new site known as Saint City! Saint City already has a rather massive number of comics, and new comics go up every Friday and Monday along with main page posts to keep things fresh and relevant. Join Eric, Sooth, and Tim as they get into tons of trouble and mischeif while Eric boinks everyone's mother. Fun for the whole family! If you're a fan of internet comics, then this is a site you definetly should not miss.

Plan B Games- Plan B Games has recently exploded onto the indie gaming scene with several PC videogames in development. Founded by Eric Risser, Plan B Games is currently working diligently on Isotope X, a battle melee style first person shooter with its emphasis on defying players expectations for experiencing absolutely anything normal. Updated frequently with progress reports, it's definetly worth a look.

Mister Films Inc.- The official homepage for Mister Films Intl. Contains descriptions of Matt's latest film endevors as well as information on his older works. Mister Films in general produces content that is much better than most independent film groups of the same standing in terms of income and the general age group, so this site is definetly worth seeeing.

Space Man Spiff- Space Man Spiff is a band that originated in Boerne, Texas. Fortunetly, all four members of the band have ended up going to the same college in Dallas, so it seems the band is going to live on. Recently, one of its better songs has even made it onto local radio and is played in rotation on two different stations. Located on their new site is information on the CDs they've previously recorded, along with a few MP3s. They also have news on upcoming shows.

Cygnus183.com- Robin's site mainly posts links to other news or editorial sites, many of which provide a very leftist take on the events currently shaping our world. On top of that, it's also one of the most professional and prettiest personal homepages on the internet, and features many pictures of him goofing around with his buddies and houses his impressive collection of photo shopped images. Definetly very cool, and updated constantly.

The Gastromachine- The Gastro Machine is a local SA band. What, exactly, is the Gastro Machine? Its where gas comes from, silly. Their website is really well done, and updates pretty consistently with links to news articles and stuff, with their own spin put on most, if not everything they post. Its a pretty well set up too, well done with a lot of content to explore. Also has MP3s of the band's songs for download.

The Official Lady Pousha Homepage- My old site of mirth, which was around for a year and a half before I decided I was uncomfortable owning a site called "Lady Pousha" and it was holding me back from, you know, showing it to people who weren't weirdos I'd known since I was five. So I decided to pack up nearly all of the content and set up shop here at Border Town with good 'ol Eric. This is up mostly for archival purposes, as most of the content here has moved over.

Sock's Page of Lame-O-Suck! My old buddy Zack from Boerne (who helped me out on the one major YAGD50 shoot at BHS and is also a fan of the series- God bless him) by night dons the mantle of the Sockmaster and runs about, violently taking pictures of local bands and striking fear into the hearts of evil men! He also keeps up a good section with multiple pictures detailing sightings of "Onyx Death-Star", local Boerne mystery. Currentyl Zack resides at UT Austin, and I wish him him well.

I

MikeGlass.com- How many nights have you suddenly awakened in a cold sweat, unable to go back to sweet respite due to that unshakable fear you have that you are somehow being adversely affected by your lack of knowledge about the weather over at my Uncle Mike's house?!!! I know that feeling all too well, as does Mike, so he has created this page to ease the suffering of all you wackos out there. The data here is never more than fifteen minutes old, so you'll never feel like your out of touch. NOTE: A while back the weather thingy attatched to my Uncle's computer stopped working, so now there's no the above description doesn't apply. But I'm not one to throw away content, no matter how bad it is, so I kept the old description anyway. Besides, it may come back one day.

The Temple of Natalie Portman- Our good friend Cygnus183 also runs the number one Yahoo! Club for Natalie Portman! Longtime Cowboy Rangers might remember that I once valiantly saved this fanclub when Yahoo! Groups was trying to screw it. Normally I'd laugh at Robin for such a strange act, but he'd probably find better ways to make fun of me and then I'd wind up crying in my room and playing with the big Transformer until 4:50 at night when my Dad came in and yelled at me. The fact that its number one is also pretty cool.

Paul's Anti-Seth Show Webpage- Many of us love the "Seth and the Computer that Constantly Freezes Up in a Manner Which is Metaphorically Equivelent to a Joke Show". But apparently, some people, even those like Paul West, who on the outside try to appear as if they are fans of the show, secretly despise and hate the new Emmy award winning series. The other day, Matt "Mister Films" Ryan pointed me out to this website the lost little boy had made. Paul himself now claims to know nothing about it, but I think we all know what the real deal is.

LESSER LINKS

Unlike the links above, Eric and I have no personal connection to the websites below... they're just pretty cool.

The Castlevania Dungeon- An excellent, excellent site focusing on one of, if not the, coolest video game series ever created. Absolutely the best Castlevania site you'll ever find.

Penny Arcade- You think internet comics suck? You won't after you read these. Probably the best on the internet and Eric's personal favorite.

Something Awful- Though its lost some of its charm over time, this is an absolutely hilarious website that can still be pretty funny sometimes. If you aren't easily offended, this site is for you.

Overclocked Remix- Cool remixes of old songs, along with some crap. But hey, the good stuff is still good, right? Download the Contra megamix when you're there.

Magic Box: International Gaming News- This is a great site for getting the latest news on games coming out in Japan. This site actually has information on things before you see it in more mainstream gaming sites. The only flaws is that they mention a lot of crap games nobody probably cares about anyway, and they lack a search engine for their content.

Series/Fan Pages The best thing about the internet is you can find out absolutely anything you want to about virtually any small facet of pop culture, because there's always one person somewhere dedicated enough to have written it all down in webpage form. The stuff below is a series of sites based on some particular series, video game, or who knows what. These sites are usually run by incredibly obsessed fans of what they represent and therefore can be a very valuable resource to anyone with even an iota of interest in the property.

Junker HQ- A site bursting with content all about Hideo Kojima's rarely seen but critically glamorized game Snatcher. Has a ton of info about other Hideo Kojima works as well, such as an entire essay devoted to analyzing the ending of Metal Gear Solid 2!

Dan42's Jin-Roh Lair- An amazing site dedicated to one of the coolest movies of all time, Jin-Roh! Now you understand, we are not merely men disguised as dogs. We are wolfs disguised as men!

The Ninja Turtles Empire- Ever sat back and wondered what it was that made you enjoy the Ninja Turtles as a child? Astonished by the relative lack of a fan following you'll find on the internet for the series which once held the minds of every child in America in its grasp? Then check this site out. Run by a truly dedicated fan, it has a ton of info on all the incarnations of the turtles but focuses a lot on the comics. An interesting cruise.

Megaman Homepage- Akin to the Castlevania Dungeon, this site was created by a Megaman nut and has been around since the absolute dawn of the internet. Its one of the first sites I ever remember visitng, back when I was still in grade school. I must admit though, its run by a girl and a very unmasculine alternative for Megaman content.

Strider Island Moralos- Yep, its a site dedicated to STRIDER! The awesome, but somewhat infrequently updated (especially for Capcom) game series. About as much information on Strider as your likely to find anywhere.
